Covid-19 adviser update

We’ve changed our underwriting approach for clients who tell us on the application they’ve tested positive for COVID-19 or had to self-isolate in the last month.

Now, if someone answers ‘yes’ to the question asking whether in the last month they’ve tested positive for COVID-19 or been advised to self-isolate we’ll no longer automatically postpone them, we’ll now refer the application to our underwriting team to review. We’ll then ask for more information from them and we may be able to offer terms depending on their answers.
