The typical way

When you make a claim, most providers offer a set list of services to help you recover from illness and to support your family. However, take-up of these services is usually low.

That’s because the services are not always relevant to your particular needs.

For example, a second medical opinion is only of value if you need a second medical opinion. For most of us, one is enough.

The Guardian way

At Guardian, we don’t have a set list of additional services when you claim. Our approach is much more personal.

Our Claims Team listen to a client’s concerns, identify the exact help they need and make it happen.

Our claims team have discretion to pay for or contribute to the cost of any exceptional help you need.

The service is called HALO, and no other claims service does more when it matters most.
